Walk a Mile in Her Shoes- Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County

In the past five years the Master Builders Association of Pierce County has donated more than $15,000 to this cause. Donations are largely spent on educating minors on sexual abuse, rape, and information on date rape drugs. The Center says they help educate over 10,000 kids a year and is the only certified center in Pierce County.

Builders, lawyers, and correction officers and others will come together to "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" a fundraiser benefiting the Sexual Assault Center of Pierce County.Along with wearing heels, many men accessorize with boas, full make up, and dresses. This third annual walk through downtown Tacoma is to help stop rape, sexual assault & gender violence in Pierce County.
